Aviation Services to the Oil and Gas Industry
Dornier Aviation has been a trusted partner in providing aviation support to the oil and gas industry for over a decade. Our largest contract, which began in 2013, is with Nigeria LNG (NLNG). Initially, the contract included two Beechcraft 1900D aircraft operating a dedicated schedule for NLNG. In 2014, a Dornier 328 aircraft was added to enhance capacity. By 2017, the Beechcraft 1900D aircraft were phased out, leaving two Dornier 328 aircraft in service.
Today, our fleet operating for NLNG includes a Q400 aircraft and a Dornier 328, providing seamless transportation across Lagos, Bonny, Port Harcourt, and Abuja. A key condition of this long-standing contract is Shell Aircraft’s regular operational and technical audits conducted on behalf of NLNG.
Dornier Aviation has consistently met and exceeded all standards, ensuring the continuity of our operations. Dornier Aviation is proud to be one of only eight fixed-wing operators globally approved to operate for Shell.
From 2010 to 2013, we also provided scheduled charter services for HESS Equatorial Guinea, an American oil company. This service facilitated the movement of HESS personnel between Malabo, Bata, and Libreville, connecting their helicopter base in Bata to key international airports.
World Food Program Air Transport Support
In 2015, Dornier Aviation expanded its humanitarian services by operating flights for the United Nations. These flights serve critical routes, including Abuja, Maiduguri, and Yola, with regular schedules. Over the years, more than one million passengers have been safely transported as part of this mission, and the numbers continue to grow.
