Capt. Jari O. Williams

Accountable Manager/Managing Director

Capt. Jari O. Williams is an aviation specialist who over the past 35 years has worked in all sectors of the Aviation industry from flight operations to ground operations, security, safety management systems and Chief Executive Officer of various State Government and Private Sector Organizations. He started his aviation career as a law enforcement officer with the National Air Border Patrol Unit under the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs as a Mission Commander/Pilot based in Kaduna in the early ’90s. After serving his time in the paramilitary unit, Capt. Williams moved on to fly commercial passenger and cargo freighters worldwide with Okada Air, Das Air Cargo, and Arik Air where he participated in airport and airline management, developing safety processes and procedures. In the last 10 years he has been engaged by State governments and concentrated on delivering the operational readiness, transfer, and certification of two state owned government airports: Akwa Ibom International Airport in 2009 and recently Bayelsa International airport in 2021. He was also the Managing Director/CEO of MMA2 in 2016. Capt. Jari Williams was appointed Managing Director/CEO Dornier/AIEP Nigeria in August 2022.

Dr. Suleiman Sani Bello

Chairman of the Board

Dr. Suleiman Sani Bello holds a combined honours degree in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Information Technology (2002) from the American Intercontinental University, London. He equally has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Communication Management from the renowned Bucks University London (2012). Suleiman’s unquenchable desire for knowledge and self-development has propelled him to attend various certification programs in Project Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management and Executive Leadership Development at the very revered Oxford University London and The Stanford University in California, USA.

A prodigiously gifted entrepreneur who has morphed into an exceptional visionary leader, with a knack for deep inter sectoral value creation through adept leadership and social skills that facilitate special talent hunts, Dr. Suleiman has been instrumental to building agile organizations that are delivering cutting edge solutions across different sectors and facets of human endeavours. An eclectic leader with relentless zeal to seeking new ways, techniques, and processes of delivering optimum value to stakeholders, Dr. Suleiman is unarguably a highly sought-after Boardroom veteran, chairing and occupying seats at several blue chip and budding companies.

In the past decade or more, Dr. Suleiman has been on the Board of Directors of Dornier Aviation Nigeria AIEP Ltd Kaduna, Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited Abuja, as well as several Budding companies in key and strategic sectors of the Nigerian economy, which includes Information Technology & Telecommunications, Oil and Gas (Downstream and Upstream), Power and Energy (with focus on hydro power generation), Aviation and logistics (with interest in marine logistics), Hospitality – Leisure and Entertainment, Agriculture (farming & livestock), Education, Entrepreneurship and Special Skills Acquisition & Development, and Real Estate Development.

Engr. Siegfried Genz

Born in Germany, Siegfried Genz had always been an engineering enthusiast. He has consolidated this interest and knowledge in completing an aircraft engineering degree in Munich. His specialist skills landed him to work for Dornier GmbH, aircraft manufacturing company and producers of high-performance military aircraft.

With his in-depth knowledge of working with the Nigerian Airforce and his ability to provide Aviation solutions, Engr. Genz established Dornier Aeronautical Industrial Engineering Project (AIEP) which has become the forefront as an Aviation technical support company from the 1970s till Date. He continues to serve as a core investor and founding father on the Board of Directors.

As the President of Afrimex Liechtenstein he was best placed in term of support for the Nigerian operation. He continues to ensure the development and growth of Dornier as the president of DASI (Dornier Aerospace International) Innsbruck Austria. For many Years he served as Chairman of the Board and currently serves as member of Dornier’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Mark Snoxell

Mark’s ability to analyse and prioritise without compromise of standards and building teams to deliver services in a reliable and efficient manner, is the hallmark of his competencies. These experiences ranged from managing non-governmental projects and government funded and private sectors. The successful implementation of an income generating project for a university in the Philippines, raising production and revenue of a private farm in the UK and carefully managing the budget developing a 6,000 hectare of the Cotton and Maize Plantation for Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority funded by the World Bank in Yola in the early 80’s, put him in good stead for the subsequent posts held in Nigeria.

The experience and versatile skills set he possess enabled him to move from agriculture to aviation without hindrance; from being Agricultural Projects Manager, MASDAR Kano, to Business Development Manager Dornier/AIEP Kaduna and as Commercial Manager Aero Contractors Lagos. He had effectively ventured to uncharted water in opening domestic and international commercial aviation routes and interline agreements with European carriers.

His sincerity and integrity in conducting business, adhering to regulations and audits has brought Dornier Aviation Nigeria AIEP (DANA) into both domestic and world arenas of the aviation service industry. The company currently provides services to the oil and gas industry and global humanitarian effort.

Alhaji Isa Abubakar

Alhaji Isa Abubakar’s knowledge and expertise are grounded on accounting and economics. Qualifications attained from the UK, US and Nigeria had given breadth and width perspectives of business.

He achieved his A levels and HND Courses in UK as well as his degree in Accounting. Further courses he attended on Trading Oil Supply Chain from Invincible Energy Ltd Cambridge have added in consolidation of his acquired knowledge and information.

To enhance his knowledge and to enable him to look at business now on top management portfolio he took further training courses on Finance for Business Executives at Harvard Business School, Boston USA.

He has worked for Union Bank, Santana Energy and is currently serving as CEO of Grey Stokes. Currently, he serves as one of the Board of Directors of DANA.

Air Cdre. Peter Ndabake Gana

Air Cdre Peter GANA’s core competencies lie in the military with the Nigerian Air Force. His initial education and flying training had been with the Nigeria Defence Academy. It was with the US Air Force that he undertook his undergraduate and Pilot Instructor Training. He has served at the Junior Staff College, Teshie Ghana. Further courses on Alpha-Jet conversion was in France and studies on Defence Resources Management was in Monterey California USA. He further enhanced his training by going on a Jaguar Fighter Jetcourse in England and with the Pakistan Air Force Air War College.

These domestic and international trainings had put him in good stead with various posts held as instructor pilot in Kano and advancing in ranks to Adjutant and becoming an Air Commodore. He has served in Makurdi, Kainji and had rendered service for country as Chief Air Officer (ECOMOG) Liberia. He has led various organisations such as Nigeria Airways, Africa Airline Association (NAF HQ) and governing Councils of Polytechnic of Osun and Kogi States.

Alhaji Ibrahim Ismael

Alhaji Ibrahim Ismail was born in Jigawa State. He began his career immediately after his call to the bar from a Legal Officer to a Principal State Counsel in Kano State Ministry of Justice. He served in the public service as the Secretary and Legal Adviser of the Kano State Urban Development Board now Kano State Environmental Protection Agency (KASEPA).

In 1984, he was appointed a member of Kano State Executive Council as a Commissioner of

Home Affairs and Information and Education. In 1989, he was appointed Special Assistant to the erstwhile Military President, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida. Ibrahim Ismail is currently a Principal Partner in the Law Firm of Universal Chambers Abuja and serves as Director on the Board of the following Companies: Heritage Press Ltd, People’s Media Ltd, Elmirage Petroleum and Gas Company Ltd, Dornier Aviation Nigeria Limited AIEP (DANA) TELEMAX, GTESC Ltd, PowerHub, Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited and Trusted Pharmacy of West Africa.

Alhaji Hamid Bawa

Alhaji Hamid Bawa is a retired security operative with a distinguished career in security operations, bringing with him a wealth of experience in safety and security. His previous role in security endowed him with a deep understanding of operational complexities, which became a cornerstone of his subsequent ventures in the aviation industry.

His transition from security to aviation allowed him to seamlessly apply his risk management and safety expertise to air travel, making a lasting impact on the organizations he served.

During a critical phase in the company’s history, Alhaji Hamid acted as Managing Director. Under his leadership, the organization weathered significant challenges, including operating with a limited fleet and navigating turbulent market conditions. His strategic leadership played a pivotal role in stabilizing the company and guiding it through financial uncertainty. This period of sustained leadership was crucial in repositioning the organization as a viable and reputable entity within the aviation sector.

As Executive Director of Finance and Administration, Alhaji Hamid introduced several key innovations and transformations that have shaped the company’s current success. He spearheaded the modernization of the company’s financial systems, aligning them with global best practices. This initiative not only enhanced the company’s operational efficiency but also bolstered the confidence of both clients and shareholders. He leveraged technology to streamline accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and improved financial reporting, contributing to the company’s growth and resilience.

Known for his strategic mindset, Alhaji Hamid has been instrumental in steering the company toward new growth opportunities, securing its long-term sustainability. Through his exceptional leadership and financial acumen. He continues to drive the company’s mission of providing safe, secure, and reliable aviation services, ensuring its standing as a reputable player in the industry. Alhaji Hamid has transitioned to sharing his knowledge and expertise with other in the field. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals and advocating for the best practice in aviation industry.

A graduate of the most prestigious University, the University of Lagos Alhaji Hamid attended several business and leadership trainings in security and aviation management in the country and abroad. He is happily married with grand children. His hobbies include readings and playing Squash.
